Jake Hill is the founder and owner of Orion Permit Co. As a wildlife biologist and forester, Jake has worked across the globe on conservation projects with private consulting firms, wildlife non-profit organizations, and state wildlife management agencies. His experience crosses multiple disciplines in the wildlife, hunting and conservation sectors where he has developed an extensive network. Jake has a B.S. in Forestry with an emphasis in Forest-Wildlife Management from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is certified as an Associate Wildlife Biologist® by The Wildlife Society and as a Candidate Certified Forester by the Society of American Foresters.
Jake is actively involved in several conservation organizations where he serves on committees focused on advancing wildlife and natural resource policy. Jake's background, connections, and professional training uniquely qualify him to handle the permitting needs of clients.
